Certified Legend Criteria

A Certified Legend should clearly meet at least 3 of these 5:

1. Foundational impactHelped create, define, or permanently shift a major lane: hip-hop DJing, turntablism, mixtapes, radio, production, sampling, regional sound, or club culture.
2. Long-term influenceTheir style, sound, technique, catalog, or platform influenced later DJs/producers/scenes.
3. Recognized archive valueThey are important enough that a visitor would expect them in a serious SuperBeats archive.
4. Verified public legacyTheir role is supported by broadly known music history, public credits, major releases, radio history, battle history, scene history, or reliable source trails.
5. SuperBeats relevanceThey fit the SuperBeats lane: real DJ culture, producer culture, mixtape culture, radio, underground discovery, or legacy music history.
